I think Squanto was just into White Chicks




  • Squanto spoke English because he was sold to an Englishman by slave traders.
  • There were many English towns, but Pilgrims rejected their "immoral ways."
  • There were more ships that arrived somewhat regularly in Plymouth, The Mayflower was not the only one.
  • Reverend John Lyford was banished from the Plymouth Colony. He fled to Jamestown.
  • Some tribes were fierce and war-like.
  • Thomas Morton founded Merrymount trading guns and alcohol to the Natives.
  • John Billington was executed for murder.
  • Thomas Granger was executed or beastiality.
  • The Pilgrims began stealing food from nearby Native American villages.
  • Squanto tried, unsuccessfully, to teach the them to farm and bathe.
  • The English and Spanish believed it was unhealthy and immoral to remove all clothing to bathe.
  • Diseases spread and killed more people per capita than the Black Plague.
  • Both, Natives and English, were suffering so they began sharing several large feasts - Thanksgiving
  • Many US towns are named Springfield because Europeans settled on Native American fertilized "slash and burn" farm land.
